Emma Crawford Coffin Races

A local legend talks about the girl who moved to Manitou Springs in 1889 to treat her tuberculosis with the fresh mountain air. After hiking up Red Mountain, Emma proclaimed that she’d like to be buried there. Dying soon after, she was indeed buried on the mountain until heavy rains dislodged coffin. That coffin raced down the mountain, catalyzing the start of the Coffin Races! Come join locals celebrating her life this October 28 on the 900 block of Manitou Ave.

Old Colorado City Farmers’ Market

If you like local food and drinks, flowers and artisanal crafts, check out the Old Colorado City Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am to 1pm  through the 14th of October. Come and take part in our local grower’s market that’s been going on for the last 35 years!

ChoralSong presents a special and seasonal Ceremony of Carols on December 17th at 7 PM, located at 22 W. Kiowa St. in Colorado Springs. Enjoy renditions of classic holiday carols sure to set you in the mood for celebrating with friends and family this holiday season. 

SantaCon Bar Crawl

For people over 21, the SantaCon Bar Crawl makes for some merry, festive, and potentially inebriated fun! Grab a group of friends, don your gay apparel, and join alongside others on December 19th.
